| What is adventure? I’m not too sure we know these days.

I know I throw this word around a lot here, but this was INCREDIBLE (and to be honest I sure hope I throw this word around a lot, because that’s the type of content I’m always looking for SN#7!).  The visuals, the poetic contemplative conversation, it’s all incredible and says more 3 minutes than most of us can say in a lifetime.  Inspirational on so many levels:

“Adventure is curiosity, The willingness to embrace uncertainty, wonder about the possibility of doing just one thing differently than before”.

Have a good weekend, folks.

In honor of iOS 8, here’s something worth thinking about:

|“We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent.  Because this is our life.  Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chose to do this with our lives.  So it better be damn good.  It better be worth it.” – Steve Jobs

Great stories are the meat and potatoes of Silo Number Seven, there’s never been a question about it.  The only standard I have for content on this site, is real media that matters: emotion, thought, and a message. With that being said, Eliot Rausch is no stranger to producing moving footage that embodies all three qualities.  Check out the above!

This was remarkable, I always love coming across videos that don’t say a word but can still speak volumes.  There’s such a crazy contrast between the mellow melody playing in the background and the increased movement seen in the timelapse, all while speaking on a single message:

| “Everybody has a life, but the problem is, we only got one. Every step you take, can affect that one, time never stands still, life isn’t slowing down or waiting for you. So, live your dream, and dream you life, and make it count!”

Something is happening in our world. The masses of people are rising up. And wherever they are assembled today, whether they are in Johannesburg, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Accra, Ghana; New York City; Atlanta, Georgia; Jackson, Mississippi; or Memphis, Tennessee — the cry is always the same: “We want to be free.”  -MLK, Jr.

This video struck a particular chord, because the title seemed to be a life goal.  You know, Silo Number Seven started out as an archive of just that: stories that matter; more specifically, MEDIA that matters.  For some time now it’s been very defining for my own goals, but I hope this video provides the same type of insight for yourself.  Have a great weekend, folks.
